I strongly believe that children perform best if they can think for themselves. In our fast paced world that offers everything almost instantaneously, it is easy to forget that some children might not have the skills to persevere. It can be very frustrating for them if they do not understand a concept or find an answer immediately, but learning how to think is a key skill to problem solving. I have completed a number of training courses (see below) and gained COACHING SKILLS which allow me to to facilitate thinking. As a teacher, it is important I create the right environment for students to think and therefore accelerate their learning.
Graydin – The Anatomy Course: Foundational Coaching, The Journey Course: Advanced Coaching and The Art Course: Facilitating as Coach.
The Coaching Academy – Foundation in Life Coaching Course.
The Thinking Well – The Time To Think Thinking Partnership Course, which focuses on helping people to think independently through a high level of generative attention and listening.
